As a BIM/VDC Coordinator working in our Innovation team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in inventing the future of design and construction by supporting and enabling project teams to thrive with state-of-the-art BIM/VDC tools and methods. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion, you will explore and support project growth and execution through BIM (Building Information Modelling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction).
What you will do

• Collaborate with the Project and BIM teams to support the implementation and usage of BIM/VDC processes.
• Forge protocols for key elements –communication, exchange of data and 3D workspace.
• Work alongside designers and trades, sculpting BIM content, organizing it our shared workplace platform and performing multidisciplinary support coordination.
• Craft project specific contract language for tender packages for the BIM submission process.
• You love to teach and mentor others who are still learning to use Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Creatively design 4D simulations where the end users can experience their project in Virtual and Augmented Reality.
• Piloting our drones, you will support our site logistics and quality assurance on the jobs, integrating a point-cloud from laser scan, or by using mobile technology. 


This role could be for you if you have

• At least 3 years of BIM experience in the construction or architectural industry. 
• Successfully completed a university degree/technology diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or MEP technology, or a combination of education and construction industry experience.
• Experience working with BIM software, including REVIT, NavisWorks, BIM 360 and MS Project.
