As an experienced Estimator working in the Civil & Infrastructures team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth and challenge industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.

What You Will Do:
• Contribute actively to the bid process cycle.
• Identify project-specific pricing for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Accurately interpret technical specifications with a keen eye for detail.
• Perform thorough quantity take-offs to ensure precise contract specifications and pricing.
• Maintain a focus on client pricing requirements to ensure project feasibility.
• Cultivate strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals.
• Explore innovative solutions and opportunities within the scope of the project.

This Role Could Be for You If You Have:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.
• A university degree, college diploma, or certificate in engineering or construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A proven track record in project coordination and team collaboration.
• Experience in building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.
• A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
• Strong research skills for identifying and analyzing project-specific expenses.
• Expertise in quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy in contract specifications and pricing.
• Solid computer skills, especially with estimation software.
